MonacoUSA turns the page with networking event

Updated: Jun 7

To kick-off their dynamic new Board, MonacoUSA is hosting a networking cocktail on Monday June 10 at the new restaurant Marius (formerly Conscientiae).

From 6–8 pm, you can “Meet the Publishers” from Monaco’s first 100% female-owned maison d’édition – Lacey Da Costa and Nancy Heslin, the dynamic duo behind Carob Tree Publishing. “We are elated to be invited to speak at the MonacoUSA event,” say Lacey and Nancy. “The association shares many of our values, including community, inclusivity and the need to promote culture.”

Carob Tree Publishing became an official Monaco-registered SARL on March 22 this year. The publishing company will produce Made-in-Monaco books that largely support women authors and women-driven projects connected to Monaco. On June 10, Lacey and Nancy will discuss their first release, 100 Years of Women Driving Motorsport in Monaco, a not-for-profit book with proceeds to support next-gen female talent in motorsport.

It’s a not-to-be-missed evening as the association will also announce a Membership Program and the 2024 Calendar, featuring a bunch of Members First and Members Only events (Fourth of July BBQ party, Quiz Nite, Basketball Cheerleading Parties and more).

There will also be networking cocktails, conferences, workshops, Monaco History lessons and selected excursions.

MonacoUSA was created in 1973 thanks to Princess Grace who “encouraged cultural, educational and artistic exchanges between her native America and her adopted Principality.” Over the last 50 years, the social and business network has developed strong ties between the two countries, helping Americans visiting or living in Monaco, with a commitment to support the disadvantaged.

The “Meet the Publishers” networking cocktail on June 10 is open to all nationalities. It’s a cash bar but entrance is free – and so is the tombola. No sign up necessary.
